This year, we'll be visiting some of the fauna that inhabits the American prairie that stretches from Mexico through Canada.  The patterns will be free the month they debut.  After that, they can be purchased.  The American bison, also called the American buffalo (although they are not a buffalo), is the heaviest land animal of North America - adult males can weigh a ton.  There are actually two species of bison: the wood bison of northern Canada and the plains bison that roamed much of North America. Once bordering on extinction, their numbers in the wild have rebounded a little.  The Endangered Species Act lists wood bison as endangered and plains bison as being under review.  Some ranchers now raise bison as a food source much like cattle, but these bison have been crossbred with cattle and are not genetically pure bison. Do to interruptions, it took two years to design a full dozen critters, but they're finally available as a set.  This set has no unifying theme, so I'm calling it the Sundrop Critters Potpourri Pack!
