One of my favorite pop Christmas songs as a child was sung by the Chipmunks (remember Alvin, Theodore and Simon?). I haven't head the song in years and at the moment, I can't even recall any of the lyrics, but I still associate the Chipmunks with Christmas. So December's Sundrop Critter is a cute little chipmunk named Chuckles who's sure to bring a smile to the face of anyone who sees him.

It's taken two years, but I now have another set of 12 Sundrop Critters to package into one pattern packet. I haven't thought of a name for this set, yet, but it'll be available soon. A new set of Sundrop Critters with a new theme will begin in January.

Don't let my design dictate how to use these patterns! You can decide which elements to use and where you want to place them. Here are just a few examples:

Use the bamboo trees without leaves to make logs. Reduce Mu Xiong to have her sitting on the logs.	Move the panda cub to different areas of the block.	This example shows that focal blocks can be as simple or as complex as you wish. Putting them together, you can make a quilt that tells a story.
Mu Xiong was tested by Karen B. of BC - using a printed bamboo fabric as the background gave this panda an instant habitat!	Turn Xing Ying, the baby panda, 90 degrees to make him or her climb the big bamboo trees from the border design.	Tilt the baby panda just a bit to make it look like he or she is attempting to climb a tree - or maybe pushing it over?
Min W. enlarged some of the patterns and used the border and cornerstone patterns to create this 16" focal block.	Use a modified 4-patch block to make a panda montage.	Have we inspired your creativity, yet? Panda Pattern Pack $9.95
